Japan 2019 Guide for Scotland Fans

Should Scotland reach the final they’ll play 4 of their 7 matches in Yokohama, plus one just up the road in Tokyo. So for Scotland fans your obvious base is Tokyo/Yokohama, with a trip out west for the middle two pool matches:

v Ireland 22nd September, Yokohama

v Samoa 30th September, Kobe

v Russia 9th October, Shizuoka

v Japan 13th October, Yokohama

QF 19/20 October, Tokyo

(click city names for venue guides)

It’s a pretty straightforward itinerary – if you get the 14-day JR Pass that’ll cover you for the middle two pool matches with a few days spare either side. I’d suggest going from Tokyo/Yokohama to Hiroshima for a night or two, then working your way back to Osaka/Kobe, Shizuoka, and Tokyo again, spending a few days in Kyoto between the Samoa & Russia matches.
